On October 23, 2024, Ms. Hirunya Srasom, Director of the International Agricultural Economics Division, along with an officer from the International Agricultural Economics Division, participated in the 52nd Plenary Session of the Committee on World Food Security at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) headquarters in Rome, Italy.
On this occasion, the director expressed Thailand's commitment to enhancing collaboration with international organizations to strengthen global food security and nutrition. She also stated that Thailand is prepared to adapt the policy outcomes of the CFS, such as policy recommendations and voluntary guidelines, to align with the country's context moving forward.
